The Jose A. Flores Apartments (duplexes) are located in both L.I.S.D. and U.I.S.D. school districts. The units are surrounded by many businesses including but not limited to the Laredo Medical Center Hospital, Laredo Public Library, and many shopping stores.  TOMAS FLORES APARTMENTS:

These apartments are located at 2301 and 2302 Lafayette in west Laredo.  The administrative offices are also located at 559-B Poplar Lane, telephone number 795-2320, fax number 795-2323.  The Tomas Flores Apartments have 2 and 3 bedroom units. The following is a description of each unit.

All units are electric, have central air and heat, washer and dryer hookups, plenty of storage space, barbeque pits, and there is designated numbered parking areas for tenants, and visitor parking for guests.  All tenants must have a valid parking sticker in order to park at the apartment complex.  Tenants pay electricity only, and water is paid by the Corporation.

 NOISE ABATEMENT PROGRAM

The Laredo Municipal Housing Corporation also manages the City of Laredo's Airport Noise Abatement Program. There are approximately 202 rental properties at this time, which are located in an area delineated by Highway 59 on the North, Canada St. on the West, and on the East up to Ejido Ave. Another portion is on Highway 59 East of airport at the Clubview Subdivision and recently properties in the Eastwoods Subdivision. These properties have been acquired since 1999 to offer the citizens of Laredo more affordable housing. In addition, more properties are scheduled to become available for rent. Properties include apartment or single property units and range from 1 to 5 bedroom units. Some properties are 2-story structures, have swimming pools and are fenced.
