Real Estate
The Real Estate Division handles all the real estate transactions
for the City of Laredo including the acquisition through
purchase and/or donation of real property for city improvements,
the obtainment
and issuance of rights of way, easements as may be needed,
and the closure and sale of city streets located with the original
land grant from Spain. The Real Estate Division also handles
the
acquisition of properties and aviation easements as well
as administers sound proofing of units in support of the Airport
Noise Compatibility
Program.
