SUBJECT: MOTIONS

Consideration to award a contract to the SOLE PROVIDER, Metro-Quip, Inc., Austin, Texas, in the amount of $59,389.00, for the purchase of an auger grinder system for the Zacate Wastewater plant operation. A JWC Auger, framework, and controls will be installed on an existing channel grinder. Funding is available in the Utilities Fund – Wastewater Division.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: None.

BACKGROUND: A JWC Auger, framework, and controls will be installed on an existing channel grinder that is used at the Zacate Wastewater Treatment plant. The requested equipment is patented and solely distributed by Metro-Quip, Inc. Delivery is anticipated within six weeks.
