b. Recognizing United South High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC for participating at the National High School Drill Team Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida, held on May 2 & 3, 2004.

c. Recognizing Valedictorians and Salutatorians of Laredo Independent School District, United Independent School District and St. Augustine High Schools.

II. EXECUTIVE SESSION

The City Council hereby reserves the right to go into executive session at any time during this public meeting, if such is requested by the City Attorney or other legal counsel for the City, pursuant to his or her duty under Section 551.071(2) of the Government Code, to consult privately with his or her client on an item on the agenda, or on a matter arising out of such item.

III. STAFF REPORT

1. Staff report regarding the Laredo Independent School District’s request that the City of Laredo execute deeds to transfer of title to certain City of Laredo parcels currently dedicated and set apart by City Ordinance as park and plazas.
