SPECIAL NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

During this Capital Improvement Program Workshop, capital projects of the City of Laredo will be open for discussion. These discussions may include matters relating to the programming of revenues and expenditures, estimated project costs, potential or planned land acquisitions, operation and maintenance costs, funding sources, and any other matters necessary to accomplish the development and a five year capital improvement plan for the City of Laredo.

III. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE PROPOSED FY 2005 – 2009 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.

1. Presentation by Horacio De Leon, Parks and Recreation Director, regarding Parks Master Plan.

2. Presentation regarding the proposed FY 2005 – 2009 Capital Improvement Program for the City of Laredo.

IV. MOTION

3. Authorizing the City Manager to publish a newspaper advertisement for public hearing for 10 consecutive days to inform the general public that three copies of the Capital Improvement Program are available at the City Secretary’s Office and Public Library, pursuant to Section 6.07 of the City Charter.

V. EXECUTIVE SESSION

The City Council hereby reserves the right to go into executive session at any time during this public meeting, if such is requested by the City Attorney or other legal counsel for the City, pursuant to his or her duty under Section 551.071(2) of the Government Code, to consult privately with his or her client on an item on the agenda, or on a matter arising out of such item.
